To send emails to your friends, You first need to add the email contacts on your trutap contacts, From Contact Menu, Select Add a Contact, Add Manually and then enter the nickname of the person you wish to create the email contact, scroll down to email address field, enter the email address and select Done.
You need to get your mobile and email verification on the trutap.com before you could send emails via trutap.
Also, to send email you need to make sure you're running the latest version of trutap. Go to m.trutap.com on your mobile phone to get the latest version, then sign in with your existing username and password. Once you've added contacts and verified your own email address you can send them an email. Either select the friend in contacts, or to go messaging and choose 'New message'. Select the email address for the contact, write your message and hit send.
By the way, when you add a contact you'll be asked if you want to invite them to trutap - just hit yes to send them an invite.
And finally, if you want to chat with users go to the IM section and add your IM account e.g. MSN. Sign in and chat away! You can also find friend on trutap and chat with them using our own messaging service.
