Owning a wi-fi mobile dictates by default that one connects through broadband facility at
home and obviously avoids any charges to connect through the mobile service provider. With trutap somehow it makes attempts to connect through the service provider and why such type seeting is configured to start with?at some point it asks for acces points but not at other times. Now is this case invariably one gets connected through the service provider and incurs charges for accessing the net. So is there a setting which can over ride this default connectecting platform. I hope you have an answer to this as when u ask for the type of mobile type it needs to be understood that WI-FI mobile will always want to connect through either a hotspot or broadband and NOT THROUGH THE MOBILE SERVICE PROVIDER.
Hi, could you let us know what phone you are using? When you start trutap you will always be asked for confirmation before a connection is made, and given a choice of the access points if you choose to go ahead and connect. In addition, on some phones it is possible to set your default access point. If you let us know your phone model we can check this for you.
